The health professionals of tomorrow are trained on the Careum Campus in Zurich. The Educational Centre, School of Health, library and auditorium transform the site into an attractive place for those in the health care sector to learn and come together.

The modern Careum Campus is situated in a central location in the heart of Zurich’s university district. It provides an ideal environment for learning, researching, networking, working and living. More than 2,500 trainees and students receive training and further education to become health professionals at the Careum Educational Center and Careum School of Health. This training ranges from the level of vocational and PET colleges through to courses in nursing sciences. Research is also conducted on key social issues relating to nursing and care.

Campus as a place for interprofessional encounters

Interprofessional and multidisciplinary cooperation are top priorities on the Careum Campus, as demonstrated by the “Main Library – Medicine Careum”. It provides trainees, students, researchers, lecturers and instructors specialising in medicine and health with specialist literature and promotes networking. Visitors can make use of a selection of attractive learning areas and workspaces and meet up with their peers at the campus’ bistro and cafeteria.

The Careum Campus is also revered as the place to be for events. With its modern architecture, the Careum Auditorium is the ideal location for events of up to 500 people.
